Project Summary:
We were tasked with refining and debugging the logic used in a PHP based appointment management system. When the code was originally developed it worked fairly well but just by the nature of the complexities of the system there were a few nagging bugs we were tasked with ironing out. The nature of the bugs required us to become fairly intimate with the system. We developed a set of unit tests to run some function checks and in the end, we were able to understand the system in its’ entirety and in fact bring things to the next level by suggesting code structure enhancements as well as enhanced house-keeping to mitigate against more bugs reappearing with future development.
